When consumers ask ChatGPT “what’s the best insurance provider?”, ask Perplexity “compare FNB vs Capitec”, or see a Google AI Overview for “best medical aid in South Africa” — brands either appear prominently, get mentioned in passing, or don’t appear at all. Nudg3 tracks all of this, across every major AI provider, every day.

The Problem We Solve

AI-powered search is now a meaningful discovery channel. ChatGPT has 200M+ weekly active users. Google AI Overviews appear on 45% of finance queries and 88% of healthcare queries. Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and Copilot all generate brand recommendations daily.

But brands can’t see this channel:

  • GA4 can’t track it. ~70% of AI-referred traffic is invisible in Google Analytics — it shows up as “Direct” or “Unassigned”. Single-source figure: Loamly’s 446K-visit study, 2025 (cite as “industry estimate”, not a fact).
